Best Game Music #6 - Silent Hill 2 - Theme of Laura

Well, as you can see this is the first of a collection of Video Game Music that I consider to be the best. This is in no particular order. Feel free to debate and criticize my selection's (no arguing or flaming would be nice, but...). I post tracks from games I have played mostly, although I may go outside of my box on special cases.

This is the Theme of Laura from Silent Hill that plays in the beginning of the game. I like the many versions of this track spread out in the game, especially the reprise.

Man.. I wish silent hill was still like this.. the good silent hill were Silent hill 1, 2, and 3. but i still like homecoming and the room. (i know you say homecoming sucked but i think it was pretty good.)

TBH I have changed my opinion on Homecoming since I posted this. It might not be the "best" game in the series but it has it's own place.

Seems like your more in terms of favoritism. No soundtrack is better than the other, they are both composed differently for their reasons.

Silent Hill is a survival horror game. Crysis is an FPS action game. It would be stupid to hear an action theme playing in a game like Silent Hill.

I'm also starting to believe you are another fanboy that can't shut up about his favorite game. I'm not a big gamer, but I believe fanboys make the gaming community look stupid.

Silent hill Draws you in to it, every creaking floor and errie sound made you wish you hadnt started the game up, but you are stuck in it and have to keep going it spooked me out as i was playing it on foggy nights and no lights in house.

Pyramid Head still scares the hell outta me!! I'm 38 and i still get scared by a pixellated shape!! How bad is that? Konami really knew how to scare in those days. Let's hope the new Silent Hill is just as good.

Pretty much what they call the "WESTERN" took our favorite game and milk it too it's core! I want my Silent Hills (4, home bullshit, etc) back you greedy mother fuckers!

can anyone here reccomend ANY of the games after 3 to play? ive bypased them all since then, and i hear theyre now on number 9? wtf. are ANY of them half descent?

@uhltron Oh I see, I didn't know that. So do you mean like what they use with Guitar Pro or Tux Guitar? Those show both usually.

@zhoban Are u a musician? notation means with musical notes atop of the tab. Tab is very soulless and tells u nothing of what the music supposed to sound like. That's the problem with guitarists today; not all but some. They seem to fail to recognize the guitar as a musical instrument and never take basic music theory. Without it it limits your ability to be a composer and even if u can make a decade career of that your limitations will be obvious to others.
