Another great video Rich. The problem with my Saab is that I just did all you've just gone over, including loading the tank with nuts to clean out the crud on the inside walls, cleaned up perfectly and the float moves freely...but when I force the float down to try to simulate a low coolant level, it does not trigger a warning message on my display, a difficult to solve problem !

Hey richpin! I have little white beads and discolored coolant in my resivour. I am not losing oil or have coolant in oil tho. Even had it checked out and told it was fine but not to even clean it or bother with it if it works fine but i have the blinking light. do i even bother cleaning it or will i cause more problems?

@FroggyCracker92 If you do not want the light on you are going to have to clean the sensor.

@riflemania If you have a sensor in the tank like the Saturn it can gum up and give you problems.

Thanks Richpin for this video. I have a Saturn vue 2003 v6, and was experiencing that problem. I took it off as you said in your video I washed it out with soap and then clr. Then rinsed thoroughly and reassembled and took for a test drive, and no more low coolant problems.
Thanks a million and keep up the great work!!! :-) love how you work on Saturn's!! You be the man! :-)
