  • Its all very clever I think, the things they can do nowadays.

  • I now have a lot more respect for the fact that I still have some pain and muscle weakness at 10 weeks post-op! I'm a 56-1/2 year old woman who is used to dancing (ballet en pointe, tap, and jazz) 5-1/2 to 6 hours a week. I started back to barre at 8 weeks post-op. I have some sciatic nerve irritation that's annoying, and makes it painful to go up stairs or do demi-plie. But the doc says give it time, it will heal. My doc at Kaiser Hospital is one of the best.

  • Unbelievable the skill this surgeon possesses I know he along with Mr. Tracy developed this technically demanding surgery which has given relief to thousands. I need to have both hips resurfaced and would give anything to have him do it for me. Simply genius. Thanks for uploading

  • I must be the exception to the rule I had this done on April 8 th and I was doing pretty good but for some unknown reason my hip dislocated on the 17 th of March I was in the hospital flat on my back for the next 3 weeks and I am still having a great deal of pain I can't sleep more than and hour at a time or sit for more than a half hour I am thinking I didn't chose a very good surgeon what do all of you think about all the trouble I am having anyone else gone though any thing like this

  • I might get an operation or two (depends on the condition the bones are) like theese and I discovered I can watch an operation w/out much trouble (just made a few funny faces at some points).

I hope the doctors performing this operation in my country know all the implications and complications this doctor is speaking about along this operation.

  • I don't know if watching this was a good Idea or not since I will be having this done a week from tomorrow but I certainly thank all the good people who have reported such great out comes from having done this. I live in a small town so I hope I have as good of results as on here wish me luck all

  • Im going in Hospital on the1st Fed for dual BHR here in Japan and worried as hell.

  • Amazing. Big thanks to Mr. McMinn for all of his brilliant work. I'm 48 years old and have two BHR components installed (Desmet & Su).

  • how long does a new hip last? isn't there a new hip that last a life time?

  • Yeah, had both hips done (1999/2000) at University Hospital of North Staffs (Mr C.Wynn-Jones) and they've been brilliant. I just hope they both last another 10 years as I don't fancy a conventional THR. Mr McMinn deserves a knighthood for this one.....
