RIP Vesta Williams. She was truly one of the greatest vocalists I've ever met. I met her in '94. Her warm personality and incredible voice absolutely blew me away. She was found dead in a hotel room in El Segundo tonight. Here she is singing one of my all time favorite songs with Phil Perry (vocals), David Benoit (piano), Russ Freeman (guitar), Jerry Hey (flugelhorn), Nathan East (bass), and Mike Baird (drums). One of my favorite versions of this song, too. Go with God, sister.
