Escape from Suburbia returns to Willits CA

Director Gregory Greene and producer Dara Rowland return to Willits
California September 26 and 27 for a two day premiere celebration of
their documentary film, Escape from Suburbia: Beyond the American
Dream. Dozens of people who appear in the film will join them at the
town's Noyo Theater to officially launch Escape's west coast tour. In
2005, the filmmakers spent a week in the small northern California
redwood community to capture the story of they turned the message of
Green's first film The End of Suburbia into WELL (Willits Economic
Localization), a game plan for sustainability. Their template has
since been adopted by many other communities.

I bought land in willits for this very reason. I can't believe I ran into this video today. I'm building a cottage in my new land, and I'm getting away from this crazy world.  Seems someone upstairs is actually hearing me out.
