"The Sun Rising" by John Donne (poetry reading)

If love makes the world go round, then it also makes the sun rise in the morning.




Donne says that his whole world is love and everything else can wait attendance on it. Love doesn't like interruptions: lovers want the world to go away and leave them in their own small world. "She is all states, and all princes I - nothing else is" means we are the whole world and nothing else exists.
