Thanks for the vid

@Lovesrichey Feeling exactly the same way! THB my favourite, but what I love about them is that no other band has their versatility! And they are so original, unexpected but great melodies - the best!

They wrote No Surface All Feeling before Richey's disappearance.

Good Documentary!

basically, a lot of bands could've written most of the Manics songs afterwards, but who else could possibly have written Little Baby Nothing?
-
@PhilSupernova88 Well of course you're right, but, a few songs aside, that in itself is an indictment of the culture we live in. they've become more blandly palatable...and of course that is always successful if you have the basic muysical talent.

@silversurfer19sb Thank you very much. Incredible song. Cheers. ^_^

@Laoch111 Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky from Everything Must Go. It's a beautiful song, one of my very favourite MSP tracks, and one of Richey's also.

Hi. Can someone tell me the name of the song that plays at around? 4:21 Thanks.

@Lovesrichey Perhaps Richey's disappearance in itself became the platform for the bands success. It's unfortunate to so many, but since 96 the Manics have become a lot more accessible to media outlets and people buy their records more. GT, GATS and THB are brilliant albums and most tracks would fit on any subsequent album but they were too fitting of Richeys personal manifesto of alienation, boredom and despair. Him leaving perhaps secured the long term future of the band.
This documentry is so heartbreaking. First time i watched it, was very very early in the morning, overtired and drinking coffee in a cold kitchen, sat next to my best friend. At the end worthlessness took over my soul and i felt so nihilistic. I couldnt help crying. . . The sad thing is their fame and recognition that came with the first album after Richey left.

Wow..as someone who became a fan of the manics after Richey,it makes you realize how much he meant to the band. Nicky looks likes he's going to cry at a few points and his talking about the last rehearsal brought me to tears. I love the description of Richey as cuddly by Nicky.
