I don't understand how Nellie Kim received only a 9.75 in the optional vault portion of the competition. Her vault was high, clean, and beautiful!

Nelli Kim's score in the floor comp. was 9.90 (not 9.80). Pity that Zakharova scored only 9.75 in the vault optional. She was supposed to be in the vault final and was the last one to compete. And yes, Nelli's vault should have been a 9.80,

I read somewhere  that qualifying in the Russian finals before the olypics was actually more competitive than the olympics themselves. They were good no lie!.
