Im from Holguin also, im glad you had a horrible time, my family there hasnt been able to go to Guardalavaca in 30 years, it used to be a tradition for us before Castro and even into the 70's, now the only people that enjoy that beach are stinking canadians.

All the Canadians we met were also nice people, no trace of any odour.

We were there end of November unfortunately it was the worst weather for 10 years. (not counting huricanes)
