Lauren's Riding Adventure...Oct. 2008

My friend Lauren came home from college with me for the weekend. She used to ride regularly, but only western. She sold her horse a few years ago when she started college and after a year on the equestrian team (western), stopped riding for the most part. She's only actually ridden English a couple of times. She's never ridden this horse.

The horse is Vally, my 1997 half-Arabian jumper. I used to show him frequently (did the Arabian circuit for awhile, some dressage, then jumpers) but rarely ride him anymore, so unfortunately he is for sale.

Neither horse nor rider was in any way harmed or in danger of harm during this video. Lauren knows how to ride and handle a horse, she's just a beginner at English...but Vally was a perfectly suitable mount. And...she didn't fall off. :)

haha, she's 20 :). She's just short--she has scoliosis that caused her spine to be curved, so she's only 4'9. But Vally is always pretty good with kids and beginners. Thanks!

Haha, she is small (only 4'9) and the saddle is my saddle (and I'm 5'7) so it's big for her. Vally is only 15h. Thanks :).
