Basically for the pattern shells like rings, hearts, etc. you just make the shape inside the shell with the stars and when it broeaks the projectiles will ignite and make the intended design.

I havent seen a real fireworks show since I was a child and I've never seen one set to music. That's definitely something I'll have to do before I die :D
