Kristina DeGroot's Colorguard Solo 2011

This is my second year in guard and my second time doing a colorguard solo at state. My song is Defying Gravity from GLEE, my routine earned me 1st place!!!! :D :D :D :D

@Candypirate11 Yeah i originally made a solo to when your smiling, but the audio wasn't working so I wrote this in like two weeks... So i had a lot of akward in it, I have improved from that though :)

Wow, you're amazing! I have a question if you don't mind answering? I am joining guard this year, and my birthday is coming up, and my mom said I can get a flag. When I was looking online, I saw pretty much only 3 sizes.. 5 feet, 5.5 feet, and 6 feet. Do you know which one I should get? Thanks in advanced :) And once again, this is amazing!

@xoUmbrella22 In my guard we supply flags to everyone trying out and if they don't make it they return the flag. I would go ahead and buy one though. You might have to check with what your guard uses for poles, my guard uses 6 ft, which is what I'm using in the picture. It's the hardest size to use, but you can do the most with it toss wise and such. :)

Very very very very nice routine. Very clean catches, great toe points, very pretty dancing. If I was a judge, I would have given you a Division 1(superior rating) rating. I also love the silk you spun with and the dress you wore.

Wow amazing! :D We did a routine for the same song except it was the original version and not glee and it came out good, but great choice in music and flag work and dancing with the flag :)

in the beginning you weren't looking at the audience too much but after some of the audience cheered for you, your personality came through and you were smiling a lot more. it was a joy to watch!
