Ok, so I did this crazy thing and recorded a non-Maiden song! ^^ Harris will always be best, but I must give Duff some credit too. He has this "jumpy" style that today is very common among japanese bassplayers. Anyway, I also played with a pick which I usually NEVER do, but I did it to vary a bit and prove that I can play different techniques ;) I like GnR, they were my first contact with rock and their music sticked with me throughout the years. I hope I played it right. Have a good time! ^^

  • Fantastic. I learned to play this song with the help of your video, I just couldn't figure out how to play the song by reading the tabs. Thank you so much.

Also, I never liked the Thunderbird model for the guitar, but I love it on the bass. You kinda inspired me to buy a 5 string thunderbird !

Keep up the good work! :D

  • @realsmoky1995 Glad it helped! Beware, it is though a bit wrong in some places, but still a good start. The T-bird is kind of big and heavy so be prepared for that ;)

  • I have seen that exact bass before. You from NC?

  • @123yyyeeeaaa No dude, Sweden :P I found one of those here as well ;)

  • what bass is that??

  • @HPBRSMV Epiphone Thunderbird Goth

  • @cdcc88 then why does so many guitarists play with fingers only? Show some respect for Duff, he's a great musician, it's all about the sound.

  • 0:25 Epic hair flip xD

  • Is there any tab for this song?

  • Awesome cover and nice Blind Guardian shirt.

  • This bass is so fucking beautiful..

    Good cover!

  • @PBL187 Still, I've played pleanty of Thunderbirds, and this particular one is probebly one of the worst, the problem with Epiphone Thunderbird IV's in general is the neck is Bolt on, the pickups are no where near as good as the Humbuckers they use on the Gibson's ... so you can't achieve a full on Thunderbird tone that you can only apparently get from Gibson.

  • @xanatos1231 Guitar Hero is pathetic

  • @Morbid696 If there was a cover on the back of the body, then it was an active one
