  • i have no idea how you brought up the window to select the LOD levels. WIth the video resolution all the text is blurry and can't make it out to tell. I don't feel like it's the same thing as pressing 1, 2, and 3 on the keyboard to view the different LOD, right?

  • @dub47 The video is narrated for this very reason. The hypergraph window is what is open. Pressing 1 2 or 3 on the keyboard has nothing to do with LODs, those are subdivision approximation levels.

  • i would never use the highest level to animate in maya id just use normal maps for any detail thats just me

    your vid card must be a beast quadro

  • oh yeah, totally. No way you'd want to animate with that high level. Its just here for the demo :)

  • love the video man but is this possible for others things too say like a rubiks cube you see i model one can't get things in group like I want to so i can rig them but thanks for the video man
