New CO2 System - Keeping it simple...

Put this together last night. Tank is a 4 Foot, have two 36 Watt fluoros going ~ 11hrs a day. Tiny bit of fertiliser added every few months - I question whether its needed? CO2 comes from DIY yeast sugar mix in 2.5L bottle underneith. Water in tank usually around pH 7 - 7.2. Take a 20L bucket of water out every week/2nd week depending when I can be bothered :P Running Eheim 2215 filter on it for about 5 years without any trouble at all! Have undergravel heater cables (off) havnt used in nearly a year.. dont really think theyre needed also.. Any other questions let me know.. =)

Whats the point of having a nice looking aquarium if you are going to stick a piece of junk infront of the view.

Going ok so far, i guess goal is to keep bubbles from escaping.. hard for them to escape this way so i guess they are doing their job.. its all a means to the same end i guess..

just a cheap submersible filter.. a hole drilled into lid of the soda bottle..

a heater on top of plants ? You put co2 in the tank to grow the plants then lay a heater on them which would bur and kill them. They do have suckers to stick the heater on the glass for a resson you know ?

ts been more than 48 hours and my C02 doesn't seem to form any bubbles and nothing is coming up I've used 2 cups on sugar, 1/4 yeast and 1/2 baking soda recipe

Take one end of the white tube and connect it to black connector of the filter ... and bubbles will be spraying into bottle ;) Hello from Moscow )))
