How was liberating 25 million people racist?

What was racist about winning 2 presidential elections fair and square? You said the GOP cheated, but neither the liberal media or Democratic Party complained which tells me the GOP didn't cheat.

1. Prove that the GOP supported Apartheid.

It all comes down to results. This election at the end of the month is important for him and the party. If they lose it- which I would be very surprised if they did- there will be a lot of talk about him. Hey, I did not vote for Obama but the guy has to be given more time as well. For a young woman you are really into politics. It can cause stress so you know, keep it all in perspective. Steele is a smart guy. I think Democrats right now are in more of a shaky situation. They have more to lose.

And Steele isn't going to win any more of the Black vote saying the sort of embarrassing stuff he's said so far about Blacks and urban areas. He hasn't addressed a concern yet. In fact, he's been a bit insulting.

Give him time. The last guy was no bargain. His first test is at the end of the month in upstate NY with a special congressional election. Republicans should win that one. Gotta let him settle in a bit. Republicans ever get 20% of the black vote even and Dems. know they are in big trouble. Roughly at about 10% now or so. Interesting how it is OK to make racial remarks against a black Republican but a black Democrat? Oh, forget it. Hysteria. Too soon to judge Steele too hard.

Yeah, his job is to raise money and voter registration. So then why did he fire the WHOLE STAFF, hasn't hired anyone new and been going on every interview he can for a month?

I think there is a ridiculous amount of attention to a guy that has been in for a month or so. He is new like Obama and you have to give both more time. I am not into this "let's get rid of them" now nonsense which is a sign of desperation. Steele is a conservative but his job is not that. His job is to raise money, voter registration, being out there. A 50 state strategy is the way to go as Dems did this election. Steele needs far more time. He'll do fine. Black Repubs scare the Dems big time.

My state, CA, is run by a Democratic legislature that doesn't live within its means. Now we're stuck with paying higher taxes b/c they can't control their spending. My hometown of San Francisco is even worse.

You don't care that Palin knows more about economics than Obama and most Democrats in Congress? That sounds like a serious problem when we're in a recession.

Steele ran for Senate in MD. The RNC chairman is elected by RNC delegates. Obviously, 2 very different electorates.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle backed subprime loans. And then there are the idiots who went to the banks to take out loans they knew they couldn't pay back.

In fact, when my city banned shady mortgage practices several years ago, the companies used their lobbyists and got the Republican legislature to overturn the ban, under the guise that government can't stand in the way of "the free market" and that people must WANT these subprime loans, so they should get them.

Thank you free market for insisting that if con-men work in groups, they are untouchable.
