West Demonizes Putin

America's interference in Russia backfired and caused Russians to overwhelmingly support Putin. Russians were offended by the protesters and Washington's impedance and they gave Putin almost 64% of the vote. The vote reflects independent polls that declare Vladimir Putin the favorite and most popular among Russians.However, this is not reflected in the Western media especially by the US and Britain. They give a one sided view or non-reporting, always biased. They never showed the many Pro-Putin rallies prior to the elections. There is no such thing as journalism in the US. The news people are commentators. It is all propaganda. Every TV news channel and newspaper seem to be the same. If you travel Russia like I do you can see Putin is favored by the majority. RT does a good job in investigative journalism in this report.

US media mostly focused on discontent among many Russians, with some outlets going as far to claim "rampant fraud" and a "stolen election." RT's Gayane Chichikyan remarks that this could insult the majority of the Russians who voted for Putin. Not only the vote, but all the opinion polls conducted before it, confirm the outcome, she adds.

Richard Spencer, founder of the online magazine Alternative Right, believes that both the left and the right in the American media are unified in treating Putin as a threat. They view him as a pariah because he questions the world order that Washington wants, Spencer told RT.
