@saltrapty broadway/musical theatre performances often look a little exaggerated when they are filmed, especially if the character is meant to have a quirky take - as this character is. Andrea is old school Broadway. She grew up learning that you had to play to the absolute LAST row in the theatre. That can seem overdone on film, but it's not meant for film. Kristin Chenoweth is the same way when you see stage clips from Wicked and other shows. Andrea is a pro, doing it right.

oh and one other thing, when she turns around at 3:28 to face the audience after momentarily having her back to the stage, she looks like she's 18 years old. Beautiful woman.

there aren't words to describe how much I love listening to Andrea McArdle sing. Her voice is so unique and awesome. She's not exactly hard to look at either, for a woman of any age - nevermind a woman nearing 50. I may boycott all Broadway shows forever if the industry doesn't put her in a lead role in a great show SOON.
