Over 175 people came together throughout Harrisburg to cleanup our city to celebrate Earth Day. Groups from the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, the Dauphin County Young Democrats, Widener Law School, the Unitarian Church, the Harrisburg Young Professionals and more pitched in to collect over 700 bags of trash and other debris. The cleaning crew was joined by senior city staff including Melissa Frey.
Harrisburg City Councilman Brad Koplinski brought his video camera to the Harrisburg cleanup on Saturday, April 18th. Brad is a leader in our party, and an elected official. Leadership is rolling up their sleeves and making a difference in your community. Brad just doesn't talk about the need for a cleaner planet -- he takes action -- won't you join him?
