I plead ignorance to any recent performances by Martha Argerich. I think she was brilliant in this segment. The piece is pretty by itself and especially as she plays it. It should be enjoyed the way it was meant to be enjoyed - full with emotion. As far as many of the demeaning critics I have seen on this page, all I can say is, if you have not studied the piano and have not played (or attempted to play) this piece, please keep your comments to yourself. Thank you.

Sì, caro aristippo74: questa donna è bravissima da quando aveva 7 anni. Peccato che in Argentina ci siano governi ladri e così scemi da non capire quanti artisti ci sono tra gli abitanti.... Martha Argerich, Bruno Gelber, Daniel Barenboim sono stati fortunati di avere genitori possenti e furbi che gli portarono via da qui. Caso mai, non sarebbero usciti dallo sconoscimento pubblico.
