Thanks for your comment. I know the advice is brief, and I admit I'm not the best speaker in the world! But these statements comes from a little book I wrote on short writing, and I go into much detail there. I will do my best to speak better in the future.

I like the quote someone famous tip. I just wrote a research paper on Thoreau, and ended with a quote from Tron. Sounds dumb, i know, but it ended perfectly and I got 98%. Take it for what its worth.

I don't think this method works when whiting a full length novel. I imagine that this cutting character development completely out of the picture.
