Bogner Uberschall tone

we all know the uberchall is brutal at metal tones, but it's pretty sick for other stuff too, this is just with a boost and some unusual eq'ing

Unfortunately I wasn't in a living situation where I could crank the amp at all. And I was just showing that you can get some other sounds besides metal from the uber, it was a quick poorly thought out video...watch it or dont.

it was really quiet, i had the master on about 6, but preamp level was only 2 at the most

Still kinda fizzy? Awesome amps though, very brutal but maybe less fizzy in real life? Have only tested it with some brown-ish metal tones

I know the Uberschall has a global master volume, would it be possible to dime the channel volume and use the global master volume as the overall output level control? I did that on a modded marshall I had and it always sounded sick.

wrong... when playing METAL, tube amps sound best when mildly clipping the power amp... too much power amp clipping sounds like sh**... mild clipping smooths the buzzy highs that occur during preamp gain stages without removing any of the intensity that is needed for heavy riffing...

Scooping mids is fucking awesome... whoever started this sh** about not scooping mids is retarded...

Mid scoop makes music more intense. I hate mid-heavy guitar sh** tone... it is horrible.

I own a VH4. It is the best amp. Try it out. It must have 6L6s to sound good for metal.  VH4 with EL34s is f'ing horrible. VH4 lays waste to everything else. Buy one. You will not regret it.
