Here's a couple of 0-60mph sprints...bear with me on the terrible launches, winter tires suck. If you're curious the exhaust is 3" catless turbo back (Cobb Tuning Exhaust w/ Invidia downpipe)

  • how quick is 0-100kmph /0-60mph ?

  • 4.5 sec

  • ok first off "duceduceexplorer" i have a forester with Sti suspension and it's been measured as well and it's exactly a 2 inch drop in the rear and 21/4 in the front. and "stalepriest" you go drive your dads mustange gt or whatever and get owned by a forester cuz you will. AND "ilovebeer79" they do handle like crap stock but catch up on your reading and you'll realize the 04 forester is LIGHTER than an 04 sti haha chump! oh and ahansen77 sti swap?? 04 FXT COMES with exactly the same shortblock!

  • nobody said swap..."conversion"...STi turbo, I/C, ECU, etc.

  • No offense, but if you're not sure that you car has a turbo or not, you probably shouldn't worry about engine swaps.

  • Very nice!

  • talk about a wolf in sheeps clothing, although I've never seen a 350 hp sheep. Way to not be a sheeple, you do subie proud, how the forrester xt should have been.

  • @ahansen77 Does the conversion include the turbo also?

  • @boxer4rsti all you need is exhaust, computer and turbo and walla u have sti forester

says so right on the forums

  • @thebighammer69 It's a much tougher job converting a non-turbo Forester to an STI turbo Forester. As far as I know, the compression is slightly different and a few other things. For an FXT, it's replace the turbo, replace the intercooler (maybe consider other cooling methods), reprogram the computer. Now you have to consider upgrading the braking, handling, but you can reasonably hit numbers like low-300HP and have it be a daily driver. Replacing my turbo at the moment.

  • @ahansen77 excellent choice, so cost effective, planning on the same thing

  • @LiftedCO

If you knew what you were talking about in the realm of subaru heads you would not be telling people to put 2.2l heads on to anything just because they suck that terribly. the best flowing heads subaru has ever made are the single cam 2.5l heads.

  • Oh STI this STI that, fuck that 2.5. Build a 2.2T and get yourself a real bulletproof engine. Better yet throw a couple of 2.2 heads on a 2.5, that would be even more badass!

  • nice car
