The X-trail handled all we threw at it. Creek crossing shown is on the way to Eliot falls, the track in is actually on the OTT. Very wet when we went. Other vehicle was a Triton turbo-diesel ute. Best way to go is by air, no corrugations!

Fantastic! Where did you go in the X and what support vehicles did you have along?
I'm taking the family on the pilgrimage to the Tip in July 2012 and we will be going in our T31 Diesel. I'm guessing the OTR was not attempted :)

how did the x-trail go, really? I'm doing the telegraph in April 2011 but the wifes 2009 xtrail will be in the garage at home (the 80 series will be my chariot) but I was pretty impressed to see you crossing rivers, even towing a honda pretend 4x4 out of a creek!!!
