I never expected to find this (& the flip side) anywhere on the internet. I was given this (on a 45) when I was 9 in 1960 & played both sides many times. Both sides bring back such nice memories. The hit side (Moonglow & Theme From "Picnic") is available on "Hard to Find Orchestral Instrumentals II" on the Eric label (no.11518-2). I also own a Dual TT. It's a model1219.
That's a great version, love your dual TT. I have a 78rpm headshell and Shure magnetic cartridge and stylus for my Dumont console. Also have this 45rpm in the jukebox by Morris Stoloff... the verson from the movie with Kim Novak and Wm Holden.
This hit by George Cates would come in at #31 for the year, 1956. And the hits continue to get bigger.

I'm putting a slidshow together for my parent's 55th anniversary. This was their song when they were first dating :)

My parents had this exact same record! I happened to see a version of "Picnic" and thought I'd type in George Cates. WOW! This is a real surprise!
THANKS!!
