This is my friend's Chrysler Cordoba. He just got it together and is working some of the bugs out. This is the first time it was down a race track. It needs some adjustments but it did well.

  • I've never seen a Cordoba with a fourspeed in it before...what gives?

  • @Lochinvar111 The car has a couple mods.

  • love the voice in the background

  • Voice is from the actor Ricardo Montalban - search for videos with him.

  • This is my dad's and my car. The current setup is a stroked 400 "B" engine (512 inches). Edelbrock heads, 2.14/1.81 valves, Comp 246/252 @.050", 520"/540" lift solid flat tappet cam, Edelbrock performer rpm dual plane intake, BG Demon set with 975 venturies. We weighed it and it actually came out to 4300 with me in it. We did some things to lighten it but also added weight with a big 9.25 axle and home made frame ties. If you calculate the weight and trap speed it comes out around 560 crank HP.

  • Thanks for clearing that up. So, 4100lbs is close to actual (without driver).

  • Ha! Ricardo Montalban would be proud! There is a car I'd like to own... thumbs up!

  • wow a four speed thats nutty

  • Coreentheean leather.

  • mikestylezz Yes, the 1979's were much lighter. Sometime in the next few years I would like to build another 512 and put it in an A-body. I would like to try to keep the weight around 2800 to 3000 pounds. Should be a fun project.

  • the 79s were the lightest if you that setup in a 79 you could have saved 400 to 500 lbs

  • @lochinvar111 u sir r retarded no they didnt make a 512 big block but u can take a 440 or 400 and stroke it to that many cubic inches so go get back in ur chevy and cry bitch

  • @Lochinvar111 they didn't have 512 cubic inch big blocks, either, LOL

  • @Lochinvar111 That makes two of us.

  • HamletvsJawas Thanks for the comment and best of luck with your Cordoba.
