Dio che meraviglia, che bravura.... potessero tornare questi tempi! ... purtroppo non è possibile. Perchè quei grandi cantanti di quei tempi, erano bravi, ma non hanno voluto trasmettere la loro saggezza nelle generazioni successive. chissà perchè... Stasera Gruberova canta la sua millesima Norma a Munchen. Perchè non lascia la scena a qualche piu giovane, insegnandole la sua bravura?

Sung the way it was meant to be sung with superb breath control. I understand what FeuilledAcanthe is expressing, I so admire Alva but I don't find his an inherently beautiful voice. He is a great artist and musical but it's his elegance and technique that create his supremacy rather than a basically gorgeous instrument.
