Nice Doe Congrats!!!! But after watching your footage you did not hit "High lung." The lungs do not back that far or that high on a whitetail. What ever you hit did the number on her that's for sure.

@drxray2007 Thanks for the comment!! Yes after field dressing her out I realized I was completely wrong...I will be the first to admit I got lucky. Practice...practice...practice and it is still hard to prepare for the real deal!!

not the best shot but at least you pu ther down. i hunt in lapeer and took my gf out and she missd her 1st deer that night. jus over his back at 18 yards but hey, welcome to buck fever

i force feed deer.the force feeding of deer causes an overpopulation(feeding and breeding are unrelated).

i choose how many fawns a deer has causeing an overpopulation.

and i am a murder because i try to control an out of control species.

your logic makes no sense and the reason the deer are bigger is because they ae living longer and have more nutrition due to the crops they eat (corn, soy beans ,carrots , apples,). please only logical response's

@xxbryan715xx Deer are bigger than than they have ever "ben" because the michigan hunting community have been feeding them to encourage their numbers. Consequently, there have also been more people killed on roads and highways because of the deliberate increase in deer population. That's right, "free man" you hunt on a farm. and your activity has killed innocent human beings.

@askalice50 deer are healthyer and bigger then they have ben . the state of michigan is the 23 largest state with the second biggest deer population. please try and convince me deer management is not in order. you see plenty of dead deer along the roads to prove an over polulatioin. hunters are not doing enough to keep the population in check. i am a proud hunter do not tread on my rights as a free man
