Genesis Outrun to Goal B

This is one of my arcade favorites played on a genesis emulator, but I'm sorry it's been so long since I've played this game so this one is tool assisted I used save states and slowdown I'll practice and make genuine videos of this game enjoy.

Ok, I have to give you a big thanks. I finally completed Outrun for the first time yesterday by using your high/low gear technique. I was amazed. I'd never been able to get past stage 2 before. To think this whole time I thought it was about hitting the brakes and letting off the gas. Now I can also beat Outrun 2019 too. Awesome.

Ah ha! I didn't think to watch for high/low gear. So you don't use the brakes at all? I'd like to get good at this game and watching you play definitely helps.

I let go of the gas and change the gears to Low

that's why there's the H or L in the upper left hand corner.

Hey, I was also wondering, it doesn't look like you're using the brakes at all, unless I just can't see the red brake lights in the video. Do you just let off on the gas when going into turns or do you brake?

Lol thanks this is one of my favorite arcade racing games I use to spend 4 to 6 dollars in quarters playing this game in the arcade, I still haven't forgot donkey kong but I had to play this game here for memory sake.
