The panther tank is a very good tank. Its tracks are flexible to go over rough bumps.

@Fastbikkel True.. I think he was talking on why the Germans laid Zimmeret on the flat surface of the Armor..but yeah it would not stick.. and the shaped charge needed to lay flat on the surface without moving.... but yeah your right.

@FINCoHMoW The Spanish used it during the spanish civil war... The Pz 4 was immune to the molotov, because its air ducts were located in the side of the engine compartment.

I don't know if you are interested by this, but the Molotow Coctail was Finnish invention and we used it agains the soviet tanks.

Around 22- 24 seconds...panzer appears a mirror image of the actual configuration. Observe the co-axial MG and hull front.

Maybe he refers to the magnets that will keep the shaped charge on the tank. Looks bumpy to me there so just laying a shaped charge on it just will not do it's job.

Incredibly interesting piece of film here. I didn't know the crew could replace the glass inside the periscopes.
A lot of details i have never ever seen in a documentary, thanks for posting.

excellent video id hate to be caved in in those trenches from the tank as it turns on top of you

Weird
Where is the panzergrenadiers? They usually go support with the tank. Should they advance with the tanks, they would neutralize the A T infantry threat.
Was this real footage? Or taken from a movie?
