Nate -good to here from you. I am in a fellowship that has a promise that '"We will not regret the past, nor wish to shut the door on it" I guess it is saying our past is what makes our body of knowledge, experiences (some good some bad)etc. and it will always serve as a basis for decisions in future. It does not define us or necessarily predict the future, although repeating our same actions as in the past and expecting different results is insanity. I could write a book about all my failures
