You seem like a nice person - too bad there's a lot of assholes in the world - but never fear - God (don't know if you believe) will take care of things (providing you're humble) - not kidding - so many people who slighted me, or worse - really got it (bad things happened to SO MANY of them) - you don't have to believe me - some of them, I actually asked God that I think they had enough and if He could back off a little.
hey i see your location is hawaii, so like are you still there? you encountered racism as a kid, but do you encounter it still? whether to you or anyone else you know. like are all the racial tensions there really as bad as people say?? jw coz i'm half white half mexican, but i don't really look mexican at all to most americans.

@welcomegohome I don't live there anymore. I would hope it isn't not like that anymore. But at the same time you have to take my story in context. I was in 6th grade and we were kids....sometimes kids say horrific things that follow you throughout life. I didn't actually recieve any racism from any adults and I think THAT is worth discovering. If you're mixed with something, we can usually tell. Americans(from the mainland) may not be able to tell right off, but we'd be able to spot it.

Racism is everywhere. African don't want us to move back to our Motherland. In Australia, where most of the population is White, you might be surprised to find that they have horrible names for each other (according to wealth). This tells me that people will always find something about another person to make themselves feel superior. We must just stop giving people, who hate others, power. They'll be gone before you can blink, if they are not getting a rise out of you.

@dome2me You would think that would work but in America it doesn't. As resembled during the Civil Rights movement, people actually had to stand up and speak against the racism as revealed in choice of employment, public and private facilities and mass transit. By not speaking, we teach a hidden curriculum. We teach that its acceptable to be discriminated against...and that is NOT what I'd like to pass down our future leaders.
