Super Mario Bros. 3 - World 8 in 11:16.30 (1/2)

It's finally over. After numerous failures, I finally did world 8.

ok one....you had to have beaten this b4 because there isnt even a lock in front of the first pipe(world map :02) then you got 26 lives and items. then you have the audacity to use the "P" in the fast ass flyin ship board. you cant complain until you beat the game wit no items and 2 lives like real gamers! yeah i said two lives cause the castle on the third world map is confusing as hell.

1) The lock is always in front of the second pipe, not the first.

2) The world record speedrun uses a P-Wing on that level just because it's so difficult. I used one there for the same reason, and on a lot of levels in world 7.

3) I have beaten the game without items and on one life, mind you. That wasn't the goal of this video; the goal was to complete world 8 as quickly as possible, through whatever means necessary, without using cheats, emulator tools, etc.

Also, 4) The third world castle is easy as hell, I don't see how a player with a reasonable amount of skill could possibly die in that level. The sixth door takes you straight to the end.

@djk7777777777 omg. its not that hard, also, u can make the entire World 8 without flying and without being touched . . . waste lots of hours of your time after u can complete it the easier way, try the harder way ;)

In this world I die at least 20 times each level... it's unfair sometimes

I remember I could finish this game but without the "flying power" he used on this last level . . . well, first time I did it with, then I tried without untill I could :P lots of years ago, good time playing Mario. games now are too easy too, u can play for 1 week to 1 month and complete it without help :/.
