If you are still worried about liquid sloshed up into your slosh tube how about a filter made of stainless steel wool or scotch brite pad. This would fit in the tube and stop the slosh but not the HHo. There are many ways it could be held in place and be removeable.
So far this has been working on my GMC. Just have to keep the water at a proper lvl. Thanks for the idea I will look into it on the next one we build.
I use one of those adapters for a blowout on my bubbler too. What I found works pretty well is to take the adapter ring apart and put the plastic between them, that way you still use the adapter ring as the seal and not the plastic.
