Several Burmese military officials have been detained following the leaking of photos about the existence of secret tunnels built by foreign workers. The tunnels, which are codenamed Tortoise Shells by the Burmese military, are large enough for heavy vehicles to drive through and have an independent power supply. According to the photographs obtained by the Norway-based TV station Democratic Voice of Burma, or DVB, it's believed that North Korea is involved in the tunneling project which started 1996. There will reportedly be more than 800 underground facilities when the project is completed. Nearly 40 of 53 underground stations located at the Thai-Burmese border area are believed to been built since 2004.
It's lovely to see these fine communist-type chaps digging these totally sensible holes all over the country. I'm all for it. I think it's a great diversion from the shooting and random arrests of civilians. We should encourage this activity and the media should be positive. If the Junta want to dig holes - let them.

burmese military regime is so stupid to have spend USD 9 billion in constructing this tunnel when common people are dying of hunger and diseases after Nargis cyclone.

it makes sense really, like why would ya test a nuke under ground anyways if not to know what the result was? i wouldnt be surprised if thats how South Korea got hit with one, i would however be surprised that one went off at all. i mean seriously, one was used durring a war in the past, not to start one, thats what freaks me out, bc when will it stop like? its kinda of unreal when you sit and think about it honestly, its gonna happen. why do ya think Iran's in the state they are right now? hmm

well North Korea does have missiles that can reach Montreal, just nothing (yet) that can carry a nuclear warhead all the way over, but it would get shot down loooong before it reaches anywhere. my best friend's retarded ex just joined the usa military, went for pilot, epic fail lol so he's going for sniper now, his last choice was also Japan, why send a new recruit to Japan considering the situation with N.K.? hmm. 30000 troops in S.K. isnt planning ahead either now is it? lol

think about it, the tested a nuke under ground, these tunnels are perfect for them to transport and set off one under somewhere that says South Korea above it lol

Since there's NK involvement in this, I don't know what they're up to. All I can say is that tiny bastard Kim Jong Ill is just being a moron saying that he's gonna launch nukes against us. He probably doesn't realize that we can track and shoot down a nuke thats been launched lol.
