David J. Sencer CDC Museum, Georgia-Pacific Professional & CDC Foundation Present Watching Hands: Artists Respond to Keeping Well. A self-declared independent designer based in New York, James Victore's participation in Watching Hands is a nod to the importance of good design in public health communications, as well as acknowledgement of the blurring of lines between design and fine art. His poster series, "Washing Hands: The single most important means of preventing the spread of infection," features hands overlaid with bubble images of various pathogens, such as influenza and E.coli, that can be transmitted by not washing one's hands.

  • I truly respect and understand what this person has to say about Graphic design. Where I went to school at, the teachers are just told to teach you one way of designing versus several ways of expressing it through your own imagination.

i dropped out of that school and saved my creative self.

  • James Victore is a genius at graphic design.
