I am still fascinated whenever using low radio wattage to make contacts. This video shows a radio contact between Alabama and Virginia using 5 watts from a Yaesu 817ND from Ditto Landing in Huntsville, AL on September 10, 2009. Antenna used was a Comet RS 730 on the side-door of my 2001 Sonoma pickup.
