Turks and Greeks didnt not only fight against eachother,Khazar empire was a big ally of Byzantium.Even there is a byzantine emperor whose mother is Turkish(Çiçek/Tzitzek) origined.They built fortress together and supposted eachother.Some Khazar Turks lived in Constantinapole and they served in Byzantine army.Turks and Greeks are brothers,we mized a lot in the history, but even ancient Turks were the friends of Byzantine.
