  • I now have dropped outta ketosis because of my xmas party..now im so curious how long it takes to kick back in. I gave myself this one cheat. i feel a bit guilty but I needed to aloow myself the one treat. I will most likely have to be strict until march...ahhh

  • Thanks for the feedback....Im really working on drinking more water. I do drink at least 3 liters pretty constantly. The creams and moisturizers I did check with the nurses, I brought a huge bag in...LOL. I have really been playing with recipes of my own because I do get bored and salads are fine but I have had to make them interesting. I love trying new things so I enjoy making up new things.

  • Have you tried using a moisterizing lotion for your skin? I put some every day all over my body. It's ok as long as the first ingredient is aqua or water... Check with the nurses to make sure.

  • At one point I too was always hungry and it was driving me crazy. They told me to spread out my protein intake throughout the day and to make sure I eat all the veggies I am allowed. I used to eat my protein in the morning and at supper. I have found this to actually help. Eating all the veggies was hard at first because I was never a fan of them but now I have my salad every day and eat the rest of my veggies at supper. Takes a while but eventually get used to it.

  • You really need to drink lots of water. If your keytones are very high, I'm thinking you're not drinking nearly enough water like you should. When I did the diet a few years ago, I was like you, my keytones were always very high and I remember only drinking the 2 litres of water a day. Even less sometimes. If you drink lots of water, your keytones will be lower but that doesn't make a difference. As long as your have keytones, that's all that matters.
