  • You know o son do ar?!?! I love this song! Do you know other Luar Na Lubre music?

  • @marlesimms no, unfortunately! this is the only tune of theirs I know.

  • yeah i know this tune too, its lovely, how exactly does hayden fingering work? you sees to do most of the playing with your right hand, while its the left for me, great job by the way! you're progressing rapidly

  • I could be (I should be) playing chords with the left hand, but I haven't attempted it yet. It has the same notes but in the lower octaves. And when you get up to the middle it begins to overlap with the right hand.

  • What kind of concertina did u play?

is that 20 button anglo concertina??

    Nice tune anyway..

O Son Do Ar is one of my fave..

And we ever did this remember? U played with your bodhran..(But i haven't posted it yet till now..Need to add more instrument). Maybe your concertina will be a good choice ;-)

  • It's an english concertina, with 25 buttons.

  • I play this music on bagpipe. Luar na Lubre - Son do Ar.

  • Big improvement for only a couple weeks!

  • Week 2? I have been playing for 5 months and I think you are better then me already. I guess that I have little natural talent and you have lots of it. But I love the concertina and will keep playing. Enjoyed your playing. thanks

  • nice!

  • Amazing sound I love it -- I need to learn this tune -- so the name is O Son Do Ar? It is most interesting and very pleasing but a bit "crooked"?

  • @3rdDerivative then I'll have to show you a couple others ^_^

check out Canto de Andar and Chove en Santiago if you have a free moment - they're both beautiful

  • What a beautiful melody! You play so sweetly!

    Lorna

  • Sounds beautiful! You have a nice sense of timing. You should do some tango or gypsy stuff with it.
