This is a farm truck that has been in my family for atleast 40 years now and i am gunna get it fixed up and drive it but i took this video to show you what it looks like befroe i do anything, it has been sitting in our barn for the last 6 years without ever being started and it took a little work but we got it running and now i have to put a brake booster on it and some other little things to make it safe. the motor was taken out over 10 years ago and replaced with a 1951 235 CI inline 6 out of a truck very similar to this so that is why it looks relativily good. the truck is a 4 speed with a 2 speed rearend and hydraulic dump flatbed and everything still works on it even 70% of the lights still work just a few are broken.

  • Amazing! You guys going to fix it up?

  • I had 49 in 1950. Used it as a Grain Truck. When the Babbits started to rattle, Dad showed me how remove the rod cap and install a piece of Pork Rine and re-install the caps. It would run great for a year.

  • Any news on this truck?

  • dis truck in mafia 2

  • Make a coldstarting video of it, driving video.

  • Damn, I almost read 'CAP to 'CRAP'. Im so sleepy today :|

  • Hell, that thing isn't doin' anyone any good just sittin'! Glad you had a mind to wake the thing up and git it doin ya some good! Looks solid. I'd be honored to drive that thing.

  • I"m so hoping to find one of these as a project to fix up and drive. That's awesome that you've got it in the family! Hang onto it (unless you want to donate it to my cause! hah!). She's a beauty!

  • Nice truck. I know the joy, I have a very simular video of my 41 coe starting after a long time. Fun moving it with no brakes!
