NITO962 Thank you for not breeding any more.. Help educate others about how hard it is to take care of these magnificent creatures, that they deserve a good life and are not throw aways when taking care of them gets hard... Plus help other future birds by talking to other breeders and maybe you all can join in to help save the birds that currently need homes and love.

Vet bills? HA! I paid $5000.00 for Maggie and have to this day, invested $4000.00 MORE in vet bills. Olivers illness, death and necropsy set me back over a grand more. I ate every DIME of those costs and would do it again!!

I have 1 cat, 2 goldfish, lots of tropical fish, 2 budgies, I used to have a hamster before it died in his sleep just before Christmas, and I will soon be adopting a cockatoo ( cockatiel ).

Oops they aren't all my pets I just accidently said send when I was typing 1 cat lol sorry.

I will be adopting a cockatoo very soon because it needs a home but I'm going to have a look at him first and the cage( but I will probably let it loose in my house anyway) . I am an animal lover. The main reason I have them is because I HATE seeing them in tight awkward hot cages. Yes they are bought buy me but that's the only way to get them out of that place. These are the animals , birds, fish that I have: 1 cat,

I feel so sorry for you.

scubaahood: i agree, but most breeding birds aren't tame so they probably weren't her kids. breeders let these beautiful birds become wild so they'll produce clutches of eggs for sale for a profit. it's all about money for most breeders.

why did u wait 4 days after you received them to take the bird to a vet? they both should've been taken to a vet the first day they arrived!

hmmm hope you learned a lesson. Not too smart

you are a joke

This is why you RESCUE birds, what the hell is trading? Would you "trade" your kids? This is TERRIBLE. DO NOT BUY OR TRADE BIRDS!!!!!!
STOP BREEDING AND BUYING.
Those are some VERY cheap vet bills. If you saw mine, you'd be way more than that. Did you at least get the bird you shipped out back? I'd be so worried about him.

I never got the chance to ship back. The day after I brought the poor little "girl" to the vet, she died (in a blanket in my arms), so I had to take her poor lifeless body "back" to the vet to get a full necropsy&histo done to make sure it was not death by a communible disease. Thankfulyy it wasn't she was clear, BUT, had been suffereing from a lung infection left untreated for months and months and months. I had her for 5 days, not even a week... before she died while being treated. So so sad.

are they really that small?
Codynbirds 3 years ago
yup, they are "lessers" the smaller one is a subspecies of the lesser, and it is even smaller.
