"Men should face the same pressure and invasion of privacy that women have faced for years"

    NONONONONONONO

This is not how you fucking end inequality and sexism, you stupid fuck, it's how you perpetrate it and allow it to continue.

    Disagreed 100%.

Firstly, it doesn't matter whether or not MGM and FGM are comparable; they are BOTH forms of violation of bodily autonomy.

Secondly, the penis is deprived of an essential body part: the foreskin. It won't work as well as it can without that.

Thirdly, male circumcision IS on the same level as vasectomies, tubal litigation, and abortion.

Fourthly, parents shouldn't have a choice in decisions about their child's body. It's NOT their body, so why should they have control over it?

It's satire, she's pointing out how ridiculous it is that women's bodies are constantly regulated by the government, while men's aren't even considered.

First of all, male circumcision and female circumcision are not comparable. After female circumcision, the vagina doesn't work properly.

Second of all, it's the choice of the parents.

Finally, male circumcision is not on the same level as vasectomies, tubal ligation, or abortion, and to insinuate that they are comparable is disingenuous.

Are you joking? This is a troll, right?

There are hundreds of bills whose sole purpose is to remove women's bodily autonomy(removing access to birth control, criminalizing abortion, even in cases of rape, etc).

Tell me of a SINGLE SERIOUS bill, you can't. The one from the video is satirical to point out how ridiculous it is to legislate people's bodies.

Why is only women's health an issue in this country? Does no one notice the fact that men don't have bodily autonomy?

I know why she did this stunt. I'm just saying that two wrongs do not make a right.

Also, I'm saying that in order to "pretend" you're taking away men's right to choose, men have to actually HAVE a right to choose in the first place. They don't get to choose when it comes to male circumcision.

Oh, but "my body, my choice" is only a women's issue, right?

If she wants to pull off something like this in a short-sighted manner, then expect no one to take her seriously.

    And, feminism is shit. -_-

The bill is clearly to get people to realize how INSANE and hypocritical the system is when bills are written, voted on, and signed into law all across the country that pertain to specifically women's bodies. Instead of being hateful towards feminists, why not try to think critically about her intentions?

To all the people getting offended by this: Do you get it now? The idea that something like this is soooooo offensive, and yet there are hundreds if bills proposed across the country in regards to women's health should make you think.

Good point, but explaining logic to a feminist is like explaining rocket science to a rock.

This woman needs to be kicked out of office and never given ANY position of power again, not even a manager at McDonalds.
