I am attempting to publish an ebook through Amazon but have several issues that have been holding me back. I can't seem to find the answers on amazon or anywhere. I am hoping that you may be able to help me. I am publishing a how to art book with color images now that the Kindle Fire is available. What is the limit file and canvas size per color image? Is there a limit on the total ebook file size? I use Windows7: Can I use a compressed file as a zip file when sending the image files?

The one thing it didn't explain is how often do you get paid for any sales and how do you know how many are being sold?

Great video: Simple explaination and an informative intro. Just a heads-up to those outside of the US: In the UK and in Germany, you can get royalties in your own currency into your owk bank account. This is something quite new from Amazon, who previously only allowed payment in US dollars
