  • Hey!!! Me too. Saw him in '83 at a frat party at the University of the South with Chicago Bob. I was a budding young guitar player back then and that was my first exposure to the Blues. I stood right in front of him all night long and went to school. Changed my entire outlook on music.

  • Awesome!!

  • so gut........

  • I too prefer the Strat.

  • man u crazy

  • They played this (one of my fave songs!), at the Famous Dave's Blues Fest last night (6-13-09) in Minneapolis: WOW, Tinsley ROCKS; he & bandmates are incredible. This song, BTW, was written by Chris Long of Atlanta band King Johnson; wonder if they still play; I used to see them when I lived in Atlanta in mid-90's. Roxie from Mpls. *

  • His choice of an acoustic-electric axe is admirable. I really prefer that touch of hollowness in a guitar (no matter who makes it) to get across that feeling. Of course, he also happens to hit the right notes!

  • Rip it up Tins!
