@Camaro112000 Hey!!! Me too. Saw him in '83 at a frat party at the University of the South with Chicago Bob. I was a budding young guitar player back then and that was my first exposure to the Blues. I stood right in front of him all night long and went to school. Changed my entire outlook on music.

He played at my Fraternity back in '80. He was famous for 'walking around'. Into the crowd, out the door, into the street. Back then he had Chicago Bob and the Heartfixers.

They played this (one of my fave songs!), at the Famous Dave's Blues Fest last night (6-13-09) in Minneapolis: WOW, Tinsley ROCKS; he & bandmates are incredible. This song, BTW, was written by Chris Long of Atlanta band King Johnson; wonder if they still play; I used to see them when I lived in Atlanta in mid-90's. Roxie from Mpls. *

His choice of an acoustic-electric axe is admirable. I really prefer that touch of hollowness in a guitar (no matter who makes it) to get across that feeling. Of course, he also happens to hit the right notes!
