Equal Exchange, a 100% Fair Trade worker-owned co-operative, traveled to the Dominican Republic in April 2008. While visiting some of our cacao farmer partners, we had a chance to visit schools and talk with Dominican students about their lives as children and grandchildren of cacao farmers. Equal Exchange's Fair Trade Fundraiser and Education program (www.equalexchange.coop/fundraiser) helps engage U.S. students in the Fair Trade movement.
