Nice job. I struggle with the timing in that solo section and you totally nail it.
-
Hi...what is the type of your black panter snare?
-
@lotzi20062006lotzi No, it doesn't. Whatever grip is more comfortable for the player grooves more. Grip doesn't change how someone grooves. If it does, it simply means whoever playing is more comfortable playing that way. Neither grip is better or has more groove inherent in it. Thinking it does is close minded and wrong.

@lotzi20062006lotzi What a bizarre comment. What does the grip have to do with anything? If he was a trad player using matched and it was messing him up, or looked awkward then I could understand it but it works perfectly. Why is it only DRUMMERS worry about this and not MUSICIANS? He could play it with a stick in his mouth, but if it sounded great, who cares? It's music. The sound is what matters, what grip he uses to play it is completely insignificant. Playing trad/matched means nothing.

Hahaha...Traditional Grip loses against the possibilities of matched grip...

The rack is actually made by Dixon - UK company that made a rack just like a Gibralter one for half the price I bought years ago. I think I had (changed now) 7 or 8 clamps, and the cymbals are actually on stands because they caused too much vibration on the rack that the tom mics picked up.
Thanks for the comment.
