ORCRC Southern Chapter RC Rock Crawling

Found some footage on my computer I had forgot about. This is one long take of my buddy Ryan crawling his Landrover LR3 rig. This video is from Jan '07, and the rig has been redone with a different body. The video is actually 14 minutes long, had to hack off the second half to fit it on youtube. Lot's of fun.

Chassis is custom built from steel. This rig was built, including a lot of custom fabricated parts. If you're not good at fabrication, I'd suggest looking into an Axial Scorpion. it's a kit rock crawler. Just follow the instructions and have fun.

hey u took the body of a 1/10 licensed range rover detailed rc with the workin lights n that it looks pretty beat up did u just rip it off or sumthin?

Actually it was a 1/10 Land Rover LR3, but you have the right idea. No he carefully removed it from the rest of the the toy. It looks like that because he beat the living crap out of it on the rocks ;-) The best thing to do to it if you ask me.

@lucky499 dude you really have to buy a new rc car new bright is just a toy up grade to the axial when ever you can if your gonna crawl it helps.
