Cal Ripken Plays ball with kids from Empowerment International Nicaragua

In November 2008, Cal Ripken and Dennis Martinez came to Nicaragua. Empowerment International, an organization that helps impoverished kids attend school and prevents drop outs, was chosen to participate in the Granada Nicaragua event. Some of the kids had never been in a bus until this day. It was a very memorable experience by all. This is a short movie summing up some of the memorable moments of the day. this is what our country needs, ex player going out there get the youth interested in baseball, i left nicaragua in 1985 went back for the first time 2009 and was disappointed to see kid plying soccer.... nothing against the sport it just the nicaragua as alway been baseball,
